Committees

Culture Committee

Offers Sixers a way to get creative and plan events for the Sixth College student body. Students gain leadership skills, a greater knowledge of Sixth College's Student Council, and have opportunities to interact with Sixth College staff. Students plan major events, such as the annual Cultures Having An Outrageous Scene (CHAOS), and smaller events, such as Foreign Film Nights.

Art Committee

Plans art-themed events and activities such as Spirit of the Masters.

Tech Committee

Plans technology-theme events and activities such as LAN parties and Winter Game Fest. Members get to plan large scale events with significant budgets and work directly with large corporate sponsors.

Special Events Committee

Plans important Sixth College traditions such as the annual Semi-Formal Dance.

Spirit Committee

Promotes Sixth and UCSD spirit through activities like the annual Spirit Night.

Marketing Committee

Promotes events developed by various programming committees. Ideal for Sixth College students who are interested in marketing, advertising, design, art, public relations, or people who are just enthusiastic about getting out the word about Sixth College events in creative, innovative, and maybe even provocative ways.

Festival Committee

Plans Kuncocshun, an event that supporting student creativity and expression through culture, art, and technology.
